This World Wellbeing Week (27 June – 01 July), Forestry England is encouraging people to try some forest bathing.

Ease your stress and worries and let the trees provide a glorious woodland canopy shelter as you breathe in the scent of summer flowers in full bloom. Watch the butterflies flutter by and maybe spot a fledgling taking wing for the very first time.

Known in Japan as shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is simply being in nature, connecting with the forest through our senses of sight, hearing, taste and touch.
