Women for Women International, a leading NGO supporting women in conflict-affected countries, has launched an exciting raffle featuring an incredibly rare vinyl of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s timeless peace anthem.
Women for Women International has been lucky enough to receive an extremely rare limited-edition vinyl acetate of Give Peace a Chance, generously donated by Yoko Ono Lennon and Sean Ono Lennon in association with Abbey Road Studios and Universal Music Recordings.
The lucky winner will receive one of only 50 limited-edition vinyl acetates of Give Peace a Chance, originally released in July 1969.
This exclusive pressing, released on 01 December 2023, boasts hand-cut at Abbey Road Studios by mastering engineer Sean Magee. It’s individually numbered and stickered and carries a machine-printed signature from Yoko Ono Lennon.
With over 28 violent conflicts currently raging worldwide, the message ‘Give Peace a Chance’ resonates more powerfully than ever.
This raffle not only offers a chance to own a musical treasure but also supports Women for Women International’s vital work with women survivors of war.
The ninimum donation is £5 per entry, and the number of entries is unlimited. The deadline for entries is 10 Jan 2025, and the winner will be announced by 17 Jan 2025. Full terms and conditions can be found here.
