Weleda has received multiple awards in this year’s Beauty Shortlist Mama & Baby Awards, including Best Baby Brand (International) and Best Eco-Friendly Baby Brand.
The accolades weren’t just for Weleda’s natural baby products; the team of judges also recognised Weleda for its outstanding products for adults and older children, too.
A pioneer of clean beauty for almost 100 years, Weleda’s body care range is certified natural by NATRUE. Anthroposophic principles are used to kick-start the body’s own natural impulse to heal itself, rather than relying on chemical fixes that treat the symptom but not the cause.
Since the launch of Weleda’s original Skin Food in 1926, the iconic NATRUE-certified moisturiser has steadily become known as a ‘best-kept beauty secret’, attracting high-profile fans such as Victoria Beckham and Adele. A tube was even spotted in a YouTube video of Ed Sheehan jamming with Anne-Marie backstage at his ÷ Tour.
Earlier this year Weleda expanded the Skin Food Menu, and the new products look set to build on the success of the original formulation.
The new Weleda Skin Food Body Butter bagged two awards – Best New Launch (Product) and Best Non-Toxic/ Eco Beauty Product – while Skin Food Light was named an Editor’s Choice Winner in the Mama & Baby Awards Mama/Beauty category.
Weleda’s fantastic Calendula range for babies was also recognised; again certified 100% natural, Weleda Calendula Baby Care soothes and supports the development of healthy skin.
Weleda Baby Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash was a winner in the Best Baby Wash category, while the Calendula Cream Bath was crowned Best Bath Product.
We’ve hand-picked a selection of Weleda products for men, women and babies – including the Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash, Nappy Change Cream and Body Lotion – and packed them together in a set with an exclusive discount. We’re offering them as rewards for pledging support to our crowdfunder campaign to use collective buying power to make natural products more affordable. Click here to find out more.
Weleda Organic Calendula Baby Facial Cream was named Best Baby Cream, and the Baby Calendula Oil won the Best Baby Oil award.
Weleda 2-in-1 Shampoo & Body Wash (Happy Orange) was an Editor’s Choice Winner in the Baby category, though it’s also a great choice for older children. It has all the natural goodness you’d expect from the Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash, but none of the ‘baby’ branding that can put older kids off using it.
For expecting mums, Weleda Perineum Massage Oil was named Best Perineum Massage Oil.
Shui Me has already won multiple awards for its range of luxury reed diffusers, and the company now has three more.
The Shui Me Purity Reed Diffuser scooped the Best Reed Diffuser award, while Relax and Uplift – the other two natural reed diffusers that complete the Shui Me range – were named Editor’s Choice Winners in the Mama/Beauty category.
Shui Me diffusers don’t just smell like heaven – once infused into your living space their natural aromas are set to work in support of your wellbeing. Each one brings a delicious, therapeutic fragrance to your room, which may in turn help you achieve a more balanced mood and outlook.
The diffusers are made from 100% organic essential oils using only natural ingredients, with no alcohol, additives or synthetic fragrances.
It has been another record year for the Beauty Shortlist Mama & Baby Awards; entries were up 13% on last year, making 2019 a record year.
