Weleda is sponsoring The Model Zone for London Fashion Week Men’s this season, near the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane where LFWM takes place.

Models visiting The Model Zone will be able to take advantage of free holistic massage treatments and skincare advice, courtesy of the Weleda team.

A holistic haven

Weleda has created a holistic haven in The Model Zone, a private space where LFWM models can rest and recharge their batteries between castings, fittings and shows.

This relaxing retreat is somewhere models can unwind, refuel and enjoy some pampering from Weleda’s holistic therapists Nisha Jani, Amanda Bucher, Megan Edwards, Rachael Leffman, Katerina Roberts, Gabriele Haynes, Teresa Duffy and Karon Stubbs.

Weleda homeopaths Patricia Curley and Louise Hoare will also be on hand to offer natural health advice.

A hit with models

Models have the chance to experience a revitalising Skin Food Facial, which is a 30-minute radiance-restoring treat with Weleda Skin Food. The facial uses Skin Food as a moisture-boosting facemask, together with a selection of other Weleda skincare products to cleanse, soothe and revive a lacklustre complexion.

Or models can relax with an aromatic upper body massage to ease aches and pains and release any tension held in the neck, arms or back.

Models take home a prized Weleda gift bag containing the iconic Weleda Skin Food and other treats to keep them fresh and fragrant.

Formulated in 1926, many top models rely on Skin Food to restore a healthy glow. Well-known fans of Weleda skincare include British models David Gandy and Andrew Cooper,
fashion designers Ricky Harriott and Adam Brown, actors James Norton, Idris Elba, Max Irons, Raff Law, Ioan Gruffudd and Adam Garcia, and television sports presenter Ore Oduba.

New natural skincare

In the Model Zone Weleda will be previewing a new trio of products for problem skin prone to oily outbreaks, that will extend Weleda’s classic Aknedoron range, launching in February.

There’s a new Purifying Gel Cleanser, a mattifying Refining Lotion and an SOS Spot Treatment that will all come to models’ rescue for London Fashion Week. These three new launches will feature in the exclusive Model Zone gift bag.

Weleda Skin Food will also be working its magic backstage at LFWM. Make-up designer Marina Belfon-Rose and her team will be using Weleda skincare exclusively for the Martine Rose show on Sunday 05 January. Both Martine and Marina are Weleda fans and use the range in their personal skincare routines.
