Valley Fest 2020

The show must go on(line) – so Valley Fest is coming to YOUR land!

Valley Fest 2020

Valley Fest organisers were devastated when they had to cancel Valley Fest 2020 due to Covid-19 – but necessity is the mother of invention.

Four hours of free online content have been curated to give you a taste of what’s to come at Valley Fest 2021 – but this time it will be on YOUR land.

This one-time-watch virtual event will take place on 01 August 2020, 18.00-22.00. You can join the party here.

Excitingly, the 2021 festival lineup will be announced during the event. Valley Fest was due to announce its acts just as the pandemic began in March, but decided to delay as the future looked uncertain.

Artists, food and workshops

There will also be performances and video messages from Deacon Blue, The Blockheads and many more artists, musicians and DJs – including Junior Jungle, Tropical Tea Party and The Allergies.

On the food front, Michelin-starred Chef Josh Eggleton will be showing how to make lamb koftas with a delicious Yeo Valley kerned yoghurt.

Award-winning chef, food writer and climate change activist Tom Hunt will be talking about how to eat well and will demonstrate how to make ‘Not Avocado on Toast’ – a vegan recipe from his new book: Eating for People, Pleasure and Planet.

Little people can learn how to make their very own potato puppet and bring it to life in a spud-tacular workshop from Valley Fest veterans 6FootStories. It’s perfect for children aged between four and eight. Keep checking the website for more details.

‘Obviously we’re absolutely gutted not to be able to be together in person, so we’re doing things a little differently this year: the show must go ONline, as they say!

‘We’ve got an incredible lineup that we can’t wait to share and performances from nearly all of our artists. It’s going to be amazing! We hope that everyone will join us for this one-time watch: Valley Fest – on your land.’

LUKE HASELL
Valley Fest founder

Discounts for 2021

There will also be a one-time special ticket offer: the Adult Weekend ticket will be £125 plus booking fee.

This reduced price will only be available over the early August weekend. From 03 August, Adult weekend tickets will be on sale for £135 plus booking fee.

Those who haven’t yet got their tickets are advised to act quickly, as many people rolled their tickets over this year and capacity for 2021 will be limited.

This free event has a packed programme and shouldn’t be missed. Remember it’s a live broadcast, so you’ll only be able to watch it 18.00-22.00 on 01 August.

Gather your friends into your garden or shepherd your family into your kitchen and get ready to turn up the fun for this one-time only Valley Fest special!
