Multi-award winning theatre company The Enlightenment Café is returning with a new immersive production, ZΩH (Greek for ‘life’).
Experience the stories of inspirational people living on the front line of the climate emergency and work alongside real scientists to help halt humanity’s extinction – all in a synapse-snapping night of theatre at London’s first eco-conscious nightclub.
The show, presented in association with the UK’s largest ethical magazine, My Green Pod, explores the pressing climate and ecological emergency through a fictional organisation that collects the stories of Climate Witnesses from around the world.
When the organisation receives a message that appears to be coming from the future, it sets out to change the present to alter the fate of the woman in the recording.
As ZΩH’s ‘agents of change’, the audience plays a pivotal, active role; alongside actors, the cast will include scientists, academics, climate charities and experts, who add a sense of pressing realism to the narrative.
ZΩH taps into that age-old drive to ponder the possibilities of what lies ahead and reminds us that the future is not preordained, but subject to human actions and choices.

Through the tales of these real women we are confronted by the profound reality that, for many unrepresented, unheard and unpublicised voices, climate change is already here. ZΩH will play at Studio 338, North Greenwich on Thursday 14 November, 19.30. The show is for over-18s only and will last 1.5 hours. Tickets are £5-£10.
The cast includes: Bisola Alabi (Hampstead Theatre, Bush Theatre); Oliver and Time Out Award nominee, Nicola Blackman (Donmar Warehouse, Lyceum Theatre); Kirsten Foster (Royal Court, Lyric Hammersmith); Nicola May-Taylor (Royal National Theatre, The Royal Exchange) and Chiedza Rwodzi (Finborough Theatre, Southwark Playhouse).
