Discover superb, small-batch spirits handpicked from artisans in Mexico

One lucky winner will get mezcal spirits delivered straight to their door with a six-month subscription to the Mezcal Appreciation Society (RRP £150).

Mezcal, an agave-based spirit, is made in small batches by artisans in Mexico. Each one is different, because it has evolved to the taste and environment of its local community.

It’s hard to find the really excellent examples of mezcal as thy rarely leave the areas they’re made in.

The Mezcal Appreciation Society (MAS) was created as a way to help people experience the diversity of this incredible drink, which has been dubbed a ‘pre-industrial spirit’.

With a six-month subscription to the MAS, the winner will get to taste examples from all over Mexico, with two 200ml bottles every two months, plus 25% off upgrades to 50cl bottles if they discover a mezcal they really enjoy.

One runner-up will receive a 50cl bottle of Lamparillo (retail price £84.99; the second runner-up will get a 50cl bottle of Madrecuixe (retail price £55.80).
