The entire kitchen furniture – from the cabinets and doors to the décor panels, cornice, pelmet and plinths – are made from chipboard with high recycled content (70% or better). Much of that comes from post-consumer wood waste collected from waste sites around the UK; the rest is FSC certified content.

All the cabinets are 18mm dowelled and glued, rigid construction and all the drawers and doors in this range are soft close as standard. ECO² is available in a wide variety of colours, allowing for colour matching throughout or co-ordinating using different coloured cabinets and doors.

An extra, free of charge service is to have many of the complicated internal fitments – such as carousels, pull-out larders, recycling bins and tambour doors – fitted in the factory prior to delivery, making the installation much quicker and easier.

ECO² is also fully customisable in terms of unit sizes, shapes and configuration, meaning that the units can be made to fit properly without compromise.

    The service

Milestone can provide a full design service via email, working to your plans and drawings, and produce computer plans to scan and email back and forth to make sure your requirements are met. Samples are available if you need to see any items in the flesh.

Alternatively Milestone can visit your home to carry out a comprehensive site survey (the cost will depend on where you live). You’ll receive a schedule for all the things you need, meaning you don’t need to use Milestone for the installation if you’d prefer to use a local trader once the kitchen has been delivered to you.

Milestone is just as at home with commercial projects as domestic; it currently has seven major high street retailers on its books, and supplyies Eco staff kitchens to stores up and down the country.
