Weleda Perineum Massage Oil is a specially developed oil to assist in preparing for childbirth. Massaging the perineum with a composition of sweet almond oil and wheat germ oil helps relax the cellular matrix and increases elasticity which may help prevent tearing during childbirth. Dermatologically tested and with no synthetic colourings, preservatives and fragrances, or mineral oil based raw materials.
Trust your intuition and mother nature
Developed by experienced midwives and pharmacists, Weleda’s products are made from plant-based oils, which are easily absorbed by the skin.
Alongside nourishing oils, Weleda uses natural, soothing plant extracts including organic calendula and chamomile, gentle essential oils that are warming, nourishing and nurturing.
Regular massage with this purely natural oil increases the skin’s elasticity and its ability to stretch, helping to reduce the risk of episiotomy. Mild almond oil, vitamin E-rich wheatgerm oil and skin-friendly essential oils are ideally suited for the sensitive perineal area.
Ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Fragance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Citronellol*, Geraniol*, Citral*, Eugenol*.
