This year has been a cracker for VegfestUK, the festival that celebrates vegan and veggie food, drink, clothes, cosmetics and lots more in a rock-‘n’-roll atmosphere.
Of the 12,000 people who attended Vegfest Brighton in March, 1,000 decided to go vegan after the event. A further 2,000 omnivores and vegetarians said they’d take steps to reduce the amount of meat or dairy in their diet.
And that’s not the end of it. 14,000 people attended Vegfest Bristol in May, and 714 of them were inspired to go vegan after the event. A further 2,428 are now moving towards veganism.
Back in March, VegfestUK announced a new show, Vegfest Scotland, which will take place at Glasgow’s SECC, 5-6 December.
Scotland’s new two-day vegan food fest is part of a brand new Glasgow-based venture, The Only Way is Ethics. This eight-day festival will explore, promote and celebrate ethical choices that affect all aspects of living.
Before that, Vegfest London will return to Olympia for its third year on 10-11 October. Expect celebrities, special guests, comedy and live music as well as over 200 stalls of top-notch vegan food, bodycare, cosmetics, fashion and lots more.
