Product Description

The Preeti Handwoven Flower Scarf is a new, unique design from Where Does It Come From? The fabric for this scarf was handspun and handwoven by rural fair trade co-operatives in Gujarat, using only cotton grown locally. The fabric was then dyed by hand (low water usage) and screen printed by hand with our original flower design. The whole process is virtually carbon free.

As with all our clothes the Preeti Handwoven Flower Scarf is traceable and comes with a code on the label so that you can find out about the eco-friendly processes we use and get to know the people involved.

100% handwoven Indian cotton, azo free dyes

As a thank you for shopping with us and helping to support ethical business, we’ll plant a tree in the tropics on your behalf through our charity partner   TreeSisters.org

We’ll do this every time you shop with us, at no extra cost to you.

UK consumers made 39.4 billion payments in 2018 – if a tree were planted for every one of those transactions things would change very quickly. We want to show other companies – and you – that it’s not difficult to do things differently.

One day it will be as normal to give back as it is to take. Until then, when you shop with companies that don’t embed restoration into your transactions, you can plant a tree yourself every time you buy something! (It costs much less than you might think…)

Thank you for caring and for your support. You’ve just changed the future.
