This UK-registered social change and reforestation charity puts trees back in the tropics with donations from the public and green businesses.
To date, TreeSisters has planted over 20 million trees; its diverse portfolio of tropical reforestation projects spans 12 important locations.
Each site uses the funds to expand natural forest cover and uses ethical, community-led projects to avoid further deforestation.
These projects also encourage feminine leadership.
TreeSisters provides resources, experiences and communities that inspire personal and collective action on behalf of the trees in support of humanity’s identity shift from a consumer species to a restorer species.
By supporting local communities and improving livelihoods, these projects protect critically endangered species and focus on gender parity and the participation of women.
